CUFFS

 

  • Which characters start to reveal more about themselves? 
we start to see more about Ryan's life, during lunch we see him smiling in the café and referred to as the 'best babysitter'. We also learn that Ryan is a widower, and we see his son skipping school, and Ryan gets out to tell him off, this shows that its quite hard for him right now and that he has to do everything.

We also learnt about Jo, we learn about her dog and how he's in swimming therapy. we also get the idea that she has a history with the boss, when she asks him out, she references their past time together.

    A fair start, showing that you have noted different elements of the backstory in Ryan's and in Jo's life, which make the audience see them not just as police officers but also as individuals.
